My First Blog

I'm in Gettysburg, PA attending a 3 day legal conference on Law Practice Management. All attorneys are required to keep up with the current state of the law and we need to take 12 credits of 'continuing education' per year. I am happy to get all of my annual credits in one fell swoop and enjoy the bonus of getting away by myself for a few days. For the past few years, I've had a running 'To Do' list in my head. Before I was a Mama, my To Do list was updated daily on a sticky note placed on the side of my computer monitor. I looked at it every day when I sat at my desk and worked on important legal things. Since having children, my sticky notes have been reappropriated by my junior staff and if I am lucky enough to find one, it's usually stuck to the dog's tail or crumpled in the dryer vent.In any event, I am using my time in Gettysburg to physically write down my To Do list and then to follow through and actually DO the To Do list items. I want to become more tech savvy and decided to create a blog. So I've spent the past 1/2 hour setting up this blog and getting started. And here I am. I have a blog! Next on my list is 'Buy a Castle in Scotland' . . . that one might take a while.
